Lorenzo Bergamino

Lorenzo Bergamino is an Italian musician born in Genoa in 1988.

Graduating with top honors in Classical Percussion instruments at Conservatory “Niccolò Paganini”, Lorenzo focused his studies primarily on the vibraphone, which became his main instrument.

Throughout his career, Lorenzo has been involved in various projects and has recorded numerous albums, exploring a wide range of musical genres including classical, contemporary classical, jazz, world music, blues, soul, and film composition.

He has toured extensively in Europe and the Middle East as a drummer and percussionist, performing at major festivals.

Upon relocating to Berlin in 2020, he has collaborated with several musical situations in the city and has also become a member of the show band at the Friedrichstadt Palast as a percussionist.

Additionally, Lorenzo works as a composer for the media industry, with his compositions featured on platforms such as Netflix, HBO, BBC, and Sky and many others.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to refine his skills by attending masterclasses with renowned musicians including Maurizio Ben Omar, David Friedman, György Kurtág, Joe Chambers, Steve Nelson, Kenny Martin, Andrea Dulbecco, Andrea Pestalozza and Mike Queen.

Since 2023 he is a permanent member of thePlanetDrum Team.
